The United States will continue to impose serious costs on the Russian Federation in response to President Putin’s illegal war. Today, we are targeting entities and folks in our efforts to shut down the Kremlin’s sanctions evasion networks, which enjoy an critical job in the Russian Federation’s capability to carry on its unconscionable war on the citizens of Ukraine. This follows our March 15 and March 24 designations of people and companies in Russia’s protection-industrial foundation that are specifically supporting Putin’s war equipment.
Currently, the United States is designating 21 entities and 13 people. Of those being designated, 10 of people people today and 17 entities are concerned in sanctions evasion networks to procure of western technological innovation. These designations will additional impede Russia’s accessibility to western technological innovation and the international economic system.
