New Business and University Arts and Science Dean at COTR
School of the Rockies (COTR) Vice President, Tutorial and Applied Analysis Robin Hicks is happy to welcome Stephanie Wells as the new Dean, Business and College Arts and Science. She replaces Darrell Bethune who is retiring soon after virtually 30 yrs with the University.
“Stephanie is a very collaborative leader and neighborhood-oriented educator who will be a good addition to our group,” Hicks explained. “She understands the importance of entry to education and the romance involving group and the school. We glimpse ahead to the contributions she will make. Of system, we are also grateful for the substantial influence Darrell Bethune built on the higher education and the plans he oversaw. We wish him all the very best in his very well-deserved retirement.”
Wells, who retains a Bachelor of Community Relations and a Grasp of Science in Educational Management, brings seventeen yrs of educational management to her new part. Most not too long ago, she taught in Tourism Management programs and held positions of Chair of two different Educational institutions and Vice-Chair of the Faculty which contains four Educational facilities.
Her diversified encounter will be fantastic assets to the function of Dean. In addition to Organization and University Arts and Science applications, her portfolio involves the college’s Tourism Administration, Recreation Management, the Invermere Hospitality Administration software, Experience Tourism Business Functions in Golden, and Mountain Journey Abilities Teaching in Fernie.
“Throughout my profession, my main worth has been to use my knowledge and awareness to help other individuals succeed,” Wells claimed. “I definitely get pleasure from locating avenues to help the results of students in their educational journey faculty in their teaching, studying, and vocation aims and the institution I stand for. In 2015, I attended a meeting at the college’s major campus and was impressed with the campus, the group, and the heat welcome. I look ahead to making Cranbrook my residence.”
Stephanie Wells started her role of Dean on Monday, June 6.
