Trent Hills man arrested for armed robbery at Campbellford business: Northumberland OPP – Peterborough

A Trent Hills, Ont., male faces a theft charge subsequent an incident at a business in Campbellford early Friday.
Northumberland OPP say that just right after midnight, officers responded to a claimed theft in development at a small business on Bridge Avenue East.

Police say officers located the suspect leaving the enterprise.
Following a “brief conversation,” officers arrested the man and seized a knife utilised in the theft.
Timothy Rector, 35, of the Municipality of Trent Hills, was charged with theft with a weapon.
He was held in custody and is scheduled to look in court docket for a bail listening to in Cobourg later on Friday, OPP reported.
