City reveals business growth numbers for Q1

Mayor Gerald Aalbers is sharing a self-assured company outlook after the 1st quarter of 2022.

His comments arrive as longtime family-owned organization Richardsons Jewelry officially opened Thursday at their new area.

Aalbers says the metropolis is seeing far more new business startups.

A deep dive of the company quantities from the Economic Progress office for Q1 reveals:

  • Overall business enterprise licenses Q1 2022 – 1,819 which is a 4.3 for each cent boost year over year

Aalbers notes the value of the air connection to urban centres.
